2026 Is the year for Granny Squares! Come join Barb C. for a once a month drop in class on Granny Squares. Do you have a bunch of squares sitting around that you need to use? Have a great idea for a granny project but aren't sure how to make it work? Bring your supplies and ideas and we will work it all out.

Looking for a crochet refresher? This Crochet Crash Course will be perfect to get you started! During this 2 hour class we will breeze through the basics including how to make a starting chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet while making a washcloth. You will also learn to measure your work, use stitch markers, and finish your work. Keep in mind every skill takes practice!

Our hand stitching group meets the second Friday of the month. We provide the materials for a different small embroidery, slow stitch or applique project each month. You can bring your own project or see what we have to share.

Come learn to crochet an infinity scarf with Mai. This beginning class will teach you how to crochet. You will learn to chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet. You will also learn important skills for constructing crochet items.

Join Mai in this class to crochet this cute hexi-cardi. Like crocheted origami, this hexagon-based cardigan starts under the arm and wraps around the body, two identical pieces joined in the back. The sleeves extend from one of the six sides and the front and hem are lengthened, all worked in the same classic stitch. Up to 8" positive ease intended for a roomy garment.

A great next step for new knitters. Hat is knit in the round with easy cabling and makes a great accessory to go with your beginner scarf. Make it with or without a pompom. We will cover a knitted cast on, knitting in the round, ribbing, cabling, decreases and making and attaching an optional pom pom. Most student from this class have gone on to make several of these hats!

Great first time weaving class. Create a lovely cotton table runner! Weave on your Rigid Heddle loom or rent one from us. Beginners will learn how to warp the Rigid Heddle loom and begin weaving a table runner during the first class session. The second class will cover finishing your project and removing the table runner from the loom. Please contact the shop about renting a Rigid Heddle Loom if you do not own one. You will need 2 skeins (350 yds total) of contrasting colors of worsted weight cotton yarn such as the Nifty Cotton and Nifty Cotton Splash we have available in the store.

Bring your loom and weave on your own project while gaining lots of tips and tricks. First time weavers will learn about the unique techniques that go into making a successful tapestry weaving like twining, hatching, soumak, rya, interlocking, slits and loads of other fun techniques.

Learn to warp and weave with delicate and thin yarns on your rigid heddle loom.

Learn how to use multiple colors in your warp and weft! If you have already taken the Beginning Rigid Heddle class this is a great next class! During the class session you will warp your loom and begin weaving a colorful 10" x 60” scarf. You will then take the project home to complete so bring your own loom or plan to rent a loom from the shop.

Using a pre-warped floor loom and boat shuttle, learn to weave a cotton tea towel. The approximate finished size is 18" x 29" after washing and hemming. When complete, the student will take home their tea towel to wash and hem by hand or machine stitching.

Join us on Tuesday evening to knit, crochet or weave our latest donation projects with yarn that has been given to our group. We make hats, scarves, fingerless mitts for children and adults along with baby blankets, all of which go to local charities in Brevard, around Florida or to other shelters that we hear about. Another fun project we work on is making Faye's Bears that are donated to first responders to provide comfort in situations involving children. Our group is fun loving and welcoming, hope you will stop by to sit and knit, crochet or weave with us!
