Steeking with Jamie B Full Day Workshop
A full day workshop to demystify and take the fear out of steeking. Homework prior to workshop required. Cost of the class covers both sessions for this full day workshop.
We will be using the free pattern, Knit Once Steek Twice, a stranded colorwork set of coasters knit in the round. The coasters will need to be knit before the workshop.
The coasters use a US7 needle (length depends on how many coasters you want to make). I am recommending at least 4, which can be knit on a 16" circular. You should use a non-superwash 100% wool in a worsted #4 weight. Approx 80-100 yds for MC and 40-60 yds for CC.
The workshop will consist of two 2-hr sessions, from 10:30am-12:30pm and 2pm-4pm, with a break for lunch.

| Skill Details: | The homework is knit in stranded colorwork. We will be using basic crochet stitches (slip stitch and single crochet, basic sewing skills (running or hem stitch) during the steeking process. |
