Hawthorne Bag by Jamie B
A small project bag or purse designed by Jamie B. Combines crochet and knitting to create a self-lined, reversible bag, perfect for self-striping yarn and color work doodles!
Project uses sport/DK weight yarn approx 300 yds. More yardage will be needed if using multiple colors for Doodle color work.
Pattern will be provided in class.
Size F or G crochet hook (or as needed to get gauge). US 6 or US 7 size 16" circular knitting needle.
Locking-type stitch markers. Dental floss or thin smooth yarn for lifeline (used as marker for drawstring casing). Darning/Tapestry needle for kitchener stitch.

| Skill Details: | Must already know how to do basic crochet and knit stitches. Will learn front and back post stitches. We will be knitting in the round, creating a casing, and finishing with Kitchener stitch (grafting). |
