Ruffled Up Fixation Socks



Knit this easy pair of shortie socks with cotton that has stretch! Get loads of tips and tricks for working with this fun yarn as well as top down sock construction. These comfortable socks include and optional ruffle at the ankle or knit it with a traditional ribbed cuff.
Learn about traditional cuff down sock construction with a heel flap and gusset, using your preferred method of knitting in the round with DPN's, or two circular needles. These are a quick knit and will become your favorite summer sock with your athletic shoes. 


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Must be able to knit and purl. Easy top down sock with traditional sock construction. Ruffle is optional. We will learn about using this stretchy yarn without knitting it too tight.
Requirements: This is a free pattern from Cascade "Ruffled Up Fixation Socks" . Pattern requires the use of Cascade Fixation yarn, which is a stretchy cotton that is a sport weight. One ball will make a pair of ladies size 5-6 socks, purchase 2 balls for a larger sock. Needles size U.S. 5, you may use DPN's, or 2 circulars as your preferred method. Stitch markers are required.
