National Space Coast Day - Space Case Cowl 3-2-1
To celebrate the newly designated "National Space Coast Day" this month 3/21, let's knit a space motif color work cowl that includes rocket ships, satellites, stars, and moon phases. This is a fun reversibleknit to make and wear! We need our space! Brevard County is the Space Coast.
Be sure to see the pictures of this reversible knit on Ravelry. This cowl is worked in the round with Fair Isle color work and will be completed with a reversible design. Cowl is worked from bottom up in the round beginning with a provisional cast on. Cowl will then be folded in half at turning ridge then joined using kitchener stitch for a smooth finish.
Project requires 800 yds of a worsted weight, in two colors.
Needle is a size U.S. 8 circular with 30" length. A spare size 8 circular will also be used to kitchener the provisional cast on to the final row.
Crochet hook size G and scrap yarn for provisional cast on.
Stitch markers and darning needle.
