2026 'Grannies Gone Wild!' with Barb C.

This once a month class will be all about granny squares. There is no specific topic assigned to each month, just bring your questions, concerns, and granny squares. This is a help session that will be held on the first Saturday of each month. We will discuss different ways of making granny squares, different joining methods, and different things to be made from granny squares.
Granny squares are a great, versatile make. They can be used to make blankets, cardigans, tops, bags, pot holders, baskets, and many other items. They are fun because you can experiment with color, texture, and shape. The options are endless.
This is an adventurous beginner to intermediate level class. You need to already know how to crochet the following stitches: chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and slip stitches.
If you want help planning a project please make sure to bring a notebook or paper for notes, writing implements, yarn, hooks etc. Yarn and hooks will be available for purchase at the shop as well.

| Skill Details: | Intermediate Beginner. You need to know how to make basic crochet stitches as follows: chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch. Experience with Granny Squares is helpful. |
| Requirements: | Please bring or purchase at the shop: yarn, hooks, tapestry needle, scissors, measuring tape, locking stitch markers, etc. Also it would be smart to bring a notebook and writing implements so you can write out your plans. |
