Crochet - Jamie's Small Bucket Tote
Great crocheted project bag or small purse! Start early and whip up a few of these in time for next Christmas!! Easily customizable for various yarn/hook sizes. Pattern recipe will be provided in class.
This is a pattern I made up to use stash 2mm macrame cording and chunky yarn I didn't want to just donate or throw away. The "recipe" can be used for any weight of yarn, though DK thru Chunky work best. Hook size will be yarn dependent.
Samples in the shop are various sizes, fiber content and hook sizes....almost anything will work. Once you understand the method, you can customize for your own unique tote.
Small brown tote: 1 skein amigurumi yarn, size F hook, 5-7 small bag feet.
Small white tote: 1 skein cotton/nylon blend light worsted-worsted (approx 200 yds), size G/H hook, 5-7 bag feet
Large white tote: 1.5 skeins cotton/nylon blend (approx 400 yds), size G/H hook, 7 bag feet
Red/Green tote: 1 skein Cascade Sarasota Chunky, size I hook

| Skill Details: | Must already know how to do basic crochet. We will be using chain, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch. |
| Materials Included: | Pattern will be provided. This is a recipe pattern for ease of customization. |
| Requirements: | 200 yds (small tote) to 400 yds (larger tote) your choice of yarn. Recommend Amigirumi cotton, Nifty cotton, or Sarasota Chunky. Size F crochet hook for DK, size G or H for Worsted, size I for Chunky. Please bring a few stitch markers, tapestry needle and scissors. |
