Weaving in the Round on a CD - Free Class
"Finally Fall In Florida Ya'll" Join us for this fun free class. We will weave on a CD, yes the round shiny compact discs we all have laying around that we don't use anymore. Make a fun decoration or sun catcher while learning some basic "weaving in the round" ideas and techniques. Your weaving can make a decoration to hang or can be used as a coaster. A great technique for fun weaving with children.
We will also learn how to add patterning to our weaving project.
Be sure to bring your scissors, a tapestry needle, and any scrap yarn you would like to use. Thinner yarns are recommended for the center of the circle, but thicker yarns are great as you weave to the outer edge of your circle. CDs will be provided.
