Hipster Light Knit Shawl
An easy knit for your first shawl, or a great travel project for summer knitting, this lightweight, one skein shawl is sure to become a favorite. Time to use that one skein of colorful yarn you couldn't resist or the special "vacation yarn" you purchased with no ideas for a project! This shawl is worked from the center top down in a crescent shape and uses just one skein of a fingering weight yarn. Knit on a size 7 needle makes it an easy project for your summer knit gatherings. Requires one skein, approx. 400 yds of a fingering weight yarn.
Size U.S. 7 needle, circular of at least 36 inch length cable as the number of stitches increases.
Decorative fringe is optional and made with the project yarn and small crochet hook.
Stitch markers and tapestry needle.
Shawl will require blocking.
