Multicolor Tea Towel on a Floor Loom with Tanya



Using a pre-warped floor loom and boat shuttle, learn to weave a cotton tea towel.

Learn the basics of weaving using a floor loom.  No experience is needed, all yarn, equipment and tools are provided to complete the towel. 

This fun multicolor warp looks great in both twill and plain weave!
Beginners will weave plain weave with a twill border.
More advanced students may use twill for the whole towel if they choose.

The approximate finished size is 18" x 29" after washing and hemming.

Once complete, the student will take home their towel to hem by hand or machine and then wet finish; instructions for wet finishing the woven towel will be provided.

Skill Details: Previous weaving experience is not required.

Instructor Bio: Tanya has been playing with fabric, thread and yarn for most of her life. Becoming a weaver brought those together happily as now she can create fabric out of yarn and thread.
