Sunset Slouch - Knit Fair Isle Hat
Learn to knit Fair Isle color work with this easy hat pattern or add in your favorite motif from our new Doodle Deck sets. This pattern is free on Ravelry and includes sizes from Baby through Adult Large. This hat makes the perfect selfish project or a quick gift. You will need at least 2 colors of worsted weight yarn with high contrast. One yarn can be variegated or self-shading and the other a solid color. You can also add strips of other colors to use up worsted weight project extras. Learn about substituting other motifs around the hat from your Doodle Deck packs or other graphed designs.

| Requirements: | Pattern is a free download on Ravelry. "Sunset Slouch" by Rachel Brockman, from Universal Yarns Pattern Collection. Circular knitting needles with a 16 inch cable in sizes U.S. 7 and 9. Double points in size 9. Worsted weight yarn, approx. 200 yards of each color. Requires at least 2 colors with high contrast. One yarn may be variegated or self-shading and the other yarn a solid color. For more adventurous knitters, be sure to bring your Doodle Deck or other graphed motif you wish to use as part of the hat. Stitch markers are a must. |
