Beginner Rigid Heddle Weaving with Tanya

Great first time weaving class. Weave on your Rigid Heddle loom or rent one from us and create a lovely 12" x 30" table runner with fringe.
Please contact the shop about renting a loom if you do not own one as the project will not be completed during the first class session.
Feel free to contact Tanya at (407)595-6524 via text or call before the class date to discuss yarn options/supplies for the class.
Beginners will learn to warp a rigid heddle loom and weave a table runner.
The first class will be learning to warp the loom and beginning to weave. The second class will cover completing the project, removing it from the loom and instructions on wet finishing at home.
For the table runner you will need 2 skeins of worsted weight cotton yarn such as Cascade Nifty Cotton or Nifty Cotton Splash (approx. total needed 350 yds).
Contrast between colors is helpful. Please have them wound before class day.
