Beginner Rigid Heddle Weaving - Tanya
Great first time weaving class. Weave on our loom or yours and create a lovely 12" x 20" table runner.
Please contact the shop about renting a loom if you do not own one as the project may not be finished within the class time.

Beginners will learn to warp a rigid heddle loom and weave a table runner. Beginners and those needing a refresh of the basics are welcome.
For the table runner you will need 2 skeins of worsted weight cotton yarn such as Cascade Nifty Cotton or Nifty Cotton Splash (approx. total needed 350 yds).
Contrast between colors is helpful. Please have them wound before class day.
We will warp the looms in the morning, take a break for lunch (feel free to bring a lunch and drink) and weave in the afternoon.

| Requirements: | Use your loom or rent one of the shops looms. Be sure to bring all of the warping tools that came with your loom. You may not finish by the end of the day, so please contact the shop about renting a loom if you do not own one yet. Please have 2 skeins of Cascade Nifty Cotton or similar Worsted weight yarn pre-wound ahead of class date to warp for a small table runner for first time weavers.
