Crochet: Azorella Cardigan with Barb C.
This lovely DK weight cardigan is a fun top down cardigan. This pattern uses raglan increases and begins with a yoke of single crochet and single crochet increases. After joining for the sleeves there is a 4 round repeat with puff stitches. The pattern uses all one color of yarn but in my sample i used two colors and alternated 2 rows each of the 4 row repeat. This makes it easy to carry the yarn up the side instead of cutting and weaving in ends.
You could also choose to use a sock/fingering weight yarn held with a strand of lace mohair to be equivalent to a DK weight yarn. There are a lot of options and variations to make. You can choose to do short sleeves or follow the pattern with long sleeves. Since this pattern is top down you can also adjust the length to fall where you would like it.
