Rigid Heddle Loom - Weaving with a variable dent reed

The class consists of warping a rigid heddle loom using a variable dent reed and then beginning to weave a scarf.  The class pattern is "Aerial Scarf," by Yvonne Ellsworth, found in Little Looms magazine, Spring 2023.

Approximately 500 yards of lace weight yarn will be needed.  Yarns for the project are Berroco Aerial (superkid mohair/silk blend), approx 350 yds and Deep Dyed Yarns Serikos  (Mulberry silk), approx 150 yds or Deep Dyed Luna Lace (Merino/Silk blend), approx 150 yards.

The weaving project is not expected to be completed in the class time.  If you don't have your own loom, please contact the shop for information on renting a loom and/or a variable dent reed to take home and use for a week.

Contact Jeanie at 321-266-1610 with any questions or to discuss an alternate choice of yarns than those recommended.
