| Skill Details: | Take your cable knitting skills up a notch. We will cover good knitting practices, following charts and fixing mistakes in cables. We will also cover blocking for cabled items. |
| Requirements: | Please purchase the pattern Flourish Scarf by Adrienne Larsen (The Yarnslayer) on Ravelry for $3.50. Due to heavy cabling this scarf requires about 900 yds of DK weight. (A wool or wool blend is recommended). Finished scarf is approx. 9" x 62" to have the cable balanced with the beginning end of the scarf. Size U.S. 6 needle was used in the pattern. Scarf is knit flat. Cable should be at least 16" length if using circular needle. (adjust needle size based on yarn selected or knitting style) Stitch markers and cable needle are required. Instructor will provide some colored pencils, etc to help with the chart. |
