Snowtracks Cabled Hat



A next step in cable knitting, we will knit in the round to complete a more complex cable. Great hat for all, will make a great gift!
You will learn about crossing cables in different directions, and including purl stitches in the cable. Get all the tips and tricks for keeping track of crossing directions. Hats are a great learning tool as quick projects and this hat can be worn by everyone!


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Advanced Beginner level, must be able to knit in the round. We will cover reading a cabling chart and keeping track of cables in the knitting. If you have made the Beginner Cabled Hat, this is a great next step.
Requirements: Worsted weight yarn, a blockable wool works best, approx. 200 yards. Avoid very dark colors for your first time with complex cables. Needles U.S. Size 5 and 7 in circulars, 16 inch length. Also size 7 in double points to manage the decreases. Be sure to bring plenty of stitch markers, locking type.
