Beginning Rigid Heddle Weaving



The class consists of learning to warp a rigid heddle loom and then beginning to weave a scarf. 

The weaving may not be completed in the class time.  If you don't have your own loom, please contact the shop for information on renting a loom to take home and use for a week. 
Recommended yarns - 1 Skein Cascade 220 and 1 skein Cascade Eco Alpaca (or equivalent 2 colors of worsted weight yarn total ~ 400 yds)

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Previous weaving experience is not required
Requirements: Bring your rigid heddle loom, warping peg & clamps, stick shuttles, and reed threading hook or rent a loom from the shop. Minimum yardage for project is 400 yd, you will need 2 colors.
