Corner to Corner Crochet "C2C"
Fast projects! Learn this easy technique that can be used for all sorts of projects. We will learn the basics on a washcloth and scarf and create a plan for an afghan using just double crochet stitches. Great projects for using up odd skeins of yarn.
Learn all the basics of this unique technique that creates a diagonal design that can be made to any size and with any yarn. We will talk about yardage requirements for larger projects in class and also discuss how to just "work till the yarn is gone" so you can use up leftovers.
Recommend your first project should be worked on a worsted or DK weight, just something not too fine if you are new to crochet. Any type of fiber can be used, but recommend cotton if making a washcloth.
The pictured scarf/cowl was crocheted using a sport weight yarn and a 4.5 mm size hook.
Please avoid plush, chenille or super bulky yarns for learning.
