Killer Queen Cowl

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Advance Beginner - generously sized, asymmetrical cowl worked on the bias with 3 different stitch patterns--a great way to show off a variegated colorway on a semi-solid background and add a bit of glam rock to your neck and shoulders. The neckline is even engineered to taper a bit towards the neck to reduce the amount of bulk at the neck but still fit easily over your head. There are 2 options for finishing the cowl: It may be sewn together at the edges, or you can add buttons and after-thought buttonholes with an easy crochet chain loop when the piece is finished.
Requirements: Purchase pattern from in shop on Ravelry for $7.99 needles - US 6 24" cable. Stitch markers. Pattern calls for Worsted but I WILL BE USING DK WEIGHT! I used Malabrigo Arroyo. I wanted a lighter weight cowl, so I used 1 skein each of a variegated and a solid that contrast each other. Yardage Info for WORSTED 305 yards of the MC (2 skeins Malabrigo Rios) and 180 yards of the CC (1 skein Rios). 5 buttons if using them.
