Fair Isle Sweetheart Hat



Knit this Fair Isle color work hat in the round, covered with hearts. This a great skill building project and it makes a great gift.  Think of all the variation you can do with color! Your hearts can even change colors.
We will use a knitted cast on to join in the round. Learn about locking in your floats for color work, and the best way to close the top of the hat.


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Must be able to knit and purl. Good class for first time color work. This hat starts with 12 rounds of ribbing for those knitting in the round for the first time.
Requirements: Worsted weight yarn is recommended. Two colors that contrast enough for the pattern to show. One yarn could be variegated. Requires approx. 150 yds of each color. Circular size 7 needle in 16 inch length and size 7 dpn's for decreasing on the crown. Locking stitch markers are a must. Free pattern provided with class. This hat starts with 12 rounds of ribbing for those knitting in the round for the time.
