Crochet: 2024 The Year of the Granny Square - Barb C
Each month is a different type of granny square from 'A Modern Guide to Granny Squares' book by Celine Semaan & Leonie Morgan. December is the 'Citrus Slice' on page 25. This square is best obtained by working with the chart and the written instructions in tandem. This square uses 4 colors. For the sample I changed the colors to Christmas Red and Green with Orange for the citrus. This square reminds me of Christmas when I was young and would get an orange in my stocking. You can decide which color tone you want to go with. The stitches used are: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, and front post triple treble crochet. Make sure to bring a tapestry needle and scissors along with your yarn choices.
