Basic Portuguese Knitting
Must know how to knit, purl and cast on stitches
Homework: using a long tail cast on, cast on 34 stitches and knit 10 rows of garter stitch.
You will learn the very basics of the Portuguese technique of casting on, knitting and purling.
Materials: a skien of dk or worsted weight yarn. Appropriate size knitting needle. A cute Portuguese knitting pin (sold in the shop) or a metal interlocking stitch marker OR just use your neck!
