Introduction to Tapestry Weaving



Learn to warp the loom, weaving, maintaining even edges, removing from the loom, finishing ends and other special techniques used in tapestry.  See the great little tapestry looms available in the shop, just the right size for a take along project that can follow a pattern or be totally free form.

Small table top tapestry loom required.
Recommended book"Tapestry Weaving" by Kirsten Glasbrook.

Various colors of yarn, wool works best but anything can be used.
Blunt tapestry needles, and a metal dinner fork for packing in the weft.

With enough interest this could turn into a monthly weave along.

Materials Included: Some handouts provided, but should take notes.
