My First Amigurumi Crochet and Crochet Stuffies

Get lots of tips and tricks for successful amigurumi crochet, (and don't forget to check out our great kits for all sorts of "stuffies." ) Pick your favorite from the picture to make in class. One of these four patterns will be provided with class. We will learn to make better increases, decreases, and ending of rounds for amigurumi. We will also cover the best method for stitching parts together.
This is NOT a beginning crochet class, but it help you learn the special techniques for crochet in the round to make all sorts of amigurumi. There is nothing better than a live teacher helping as you learn how to do the shaping necessary to make all sorts of cute characters!
We will also discuss some embroidery type stitching/sculpting for better features and personality. (you may also purchase plastic safety eyes)
Please read requirements for this class carefully: You may use any worsted weight yarn (#4) that is not too dark and not fuzzy. Our worsted weight acrylic or cotton are a good choice. You can use one color or two colors for accents. A small amount of fiber fill will also be used.
Please bring U.S. size F (3.75mm) crochet hook or other hooks about this size. We will crochet tight stitches to hold in the fiber fill.
You will need a darning needle and scissors to attach the body parts.
Locking stitch markers are a must for this class, they will help us mark and count our rounds, as well as mark where to attach legs, ears, eyes, etc. so please have at least 10 for class.
