Warp and Weave on a Multi-Shaft Loom

This is a two-day class that guides the students through all steps required to warp a multi-shaft floor loom and weave their chosen project, either a scarf or table runner. Instruction includes winding the warp, threading the heddles, sleying the reed, and weaving their chosen project.  Approximate size of finished project is 9" wide x 60" long, plus fringe.  Other than yarn, all materials and equipment are included. 

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Previous weaving experience is helpful.
Requirements: Yarn for the warp and weft is required. Suggested yarn for the warp is Cascade Pima Cotton or Circulo Anne Cotton, approximately 400 yards. For the weft, almost any yarn can be used, approximately 250 yards will be needed. Contact Jeanie at 321-266-1610 to discuss project and yarns to be used.
