Beginning Knitting
Ready to learn to knit? Now is the time!! This class is designed for the beginner. You will make a lovely scarf that you can wear yourself or gift to someone you care for. The scarf pattern uses basic stitches in a variety of ways to create several designs.
You will learn knit, purl, and how to read a pattern while knitting a lovely sampler scarf. Pattern is provided with class.
Required at least 400 yard of a worsted weight yarn. Please do not select too dark of a color for learning.
Knitting needles size 8 or 9, bamboo needles are preferred in the shorter 9 inch length.
You will also need locking (opening pin type) stitch markers.
