The Longest Day 23 June 2024 - Alzheimer's Research Fundraiser
We had a great turnout for the Longest Day fundraising event! Thanks to all who participated in the Zoom with Ann Budd; you guys made it so much fun!
I’m so excited to announce that our Knit and Stitch community raised $915.62 for Alzheimer’s research! That amount will be added to all the shops who joined in the effort as part of Team Ann Budd to make an estimated grand total of over $10,000! When all numbers are in, I’ll let you know exactly what was contributed.
This year included crocheters and I expect this will continue; I’m thrilled that it’s an effort open to ALL members of our small corner of the world.
Prize winners included three members of our Zoom group. The shop raffle drawing took place on Sunday afternoon. First prize—Karen Londo ($200 gift card to Knit and Stitch), Second prize—Sara Huston (Four $25 gift cards to Cocoa Village restaurants) Third prize—Lory ($20 gift card to Hello Again Books.
So…thanks, thanks, and many thanks to each of you!
