For 2025 we will be crocheting a different flower, insect, or plant each month. These cute growing things are all creatures or plants that I am grateful for. This year we are using the book '100 flowers to knit & crochet' by Lesley Stanfield. The shop has the book in stock. April will be the narcissus on page 85. As an added bonus we will be teaching how to translate UK crochet terminology to US terminology throughout the class as the book is in UK terminology.

These cuffs or hand warmers look complicated but are a surprisingly simple lace to knit. The Lace Filigree motifs are repeated in columns or staggered for an easy-to-knit self-shaping hand covering that can be worn just under a sleeve of a blouse or sweater to add a lacy layered look to your outfit. Great first time weaving class. Weave on our loom or yours and create a lovely table runner. Beginners will learn how to warp a loom and begin a table runner. Please contact the shop about renting a rigid heddle loom if you do not own one.

Bring your loom and weave on your own project while gaining lots of tips and tricks. First time weavers will learn about the unique techniques that go into making a successful tapestry weaving like twining, hatching, soumak, rya, interlocking, slits and loads of other fun techniques.

Weave on our loom or yours and create a lovely piece of fabric. Get lots of tips and tricks for successful warping. Beginners can learn to warp a loom and weave off a table runner by the end of the day. All skill levels are welcome. More advanced weavers can try an additional technique like pick up, variable dent weaving, a color and weave pattern, or warping for specific patterns like hounds tooth or log cabin. Great tips for on the loom hem stitching and other finishing techniques.

Weave a sturdy band that can be used for a book mark, key chain, leash, purse strap, camera strap, etc. This is an inexpensive way to learn about weaving without a loom. With this type of weaving you can create an infinite number of pattern designs, and it is a very portable project you can do anywhere.

Join this fun class for the easiest type of weaving! This involves a long dowel, tapestry needle, your beads and string. Your finished project will be a narrow band with beads along the edges. It can become a bracelet, necklace, lanyard, headband, hatband, or trim on clothing or bags.

Learn to weave on a pin loom and get loads of tips and tricks for assembling squares into all sorts of projects from little animals to afghans or garments. Makes great use of leftover yarns from other projects as each 4 inch square requires only 8 yards of yarn.

Using a pre-warped floor loom and boat shuttle, weave a cotton tea towel. The approximate finished size is 18" x 30" before washing. When complete, the tea towel will be taken home to hem by hand or machine stitching.
